Boston’s Iconic Harbor Hotel Unveils The Most Luxurious Stay in the city with it’s new John Adams Presidential Suite.
Boston is known for its prestigious colleges, world-class hospitals and excellent museums. The city was lacking in its offerings with a grand, showcase hotel suite. A suite as unparalleled as Beantown. The legendary Boston Harbor Hotel, the city’s only Forbes Five Star waterfront property has debuted The John Adams Presidential Suite. This is the finest suite in Boston and is housed in the property’s often photographed rotunda. The most recognized rotunda in New England.
The Boston Harbor Hotel is a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts Legend Collection.
When walking into the stunning Presidential Suite, one’s breath is literally taken away. The 20- foot floor-to-to ceiling windows offer a postcard view of the entire harbor. While I was enjoying my ocean views from inside the 4,800 square foot suite, I wanted to head outside and inhale the sea. Not to worry, the 1,000 square foot terrace outside made sure that my experience was truly unforgettable. The terrace boasts every luxury available for al fresco entertainment with ample seating, surround sound and outdoor heating. I’ve been told that the terrace is a favorite proposal spot, fireworks, of course, are included with the “Engagement Package.”
While fit for a king, the Presidential Suite is ideal for the upscale family or group traveling together. The suite can easily accommodate 8 adult guests. If privacy is paramount than look no further than the suite’s exclusive private entrance and personal elevator. Many notables have checked in to this exclusive address and with every detail thought of, it’s not a wonder why.
The John Adams Presidential Suite boasts details like a handcrafted chandelier with over 1,200 crystals. The elegant master bedroom is outfitted with Hermes decor, lush Frette Doppio adorned linens while the ensuite master bathroom is adorned with Carrara marble and BVLGARI amenities. The rain shower with three separate showerheads makes you feel like life cannot get any sweeter. Sure, it’s Heaven but you’re not going to be able to resist a bath!
The freestanding soaking tub is one dreams are made of. Sit and soak, the travels to get here will be worth it. Relaxation takes over your entire body while you gaze out at the incredible harbor views. The tub alone is going to make check-out time difficult.
If you’re looking to host an elegant dinner or glamorous reception, The John Adams Presidential Suite has made that also an easy option. This one-of-a-kind suite has made entertaining guests a simple feat. A modern kitchen and butler’s pantry with complete Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances are hidden away from guests' view. While waiting for dinner, have a cocktail at your private bar stocked with top-shelf wines and liquors. Of course, if there is anything you’ve forgotten The John Adams Presidential Suite also employs a personal concierge just for you!
If you and your guests would like to unwind after your dinner, may I suggest your private screening room? The suite’s media room offers a 93-inch flat-screen television, wall controls and state-of-the-art theater-quality sound.
While all of this sounds over-the-top (and it is) it doesn’t feel vulgar or ostentatious. The design is refined and understated elegance. Easily the grandest suite in New England, it still is extremely comfortable. It’s welcoming and breezy, not at all too intimidating to unwind in.
At $15,000 a night, The Boston Harbor Hotel has taken elegance and made it absolutely swoon-worthy. The only downside of staying in accommodations this grand is that you might not ever want to leave.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to my bath.
