The Four Seasons has been known for its luxury and style for decades now, but instead of sitting in complacency, the brand upped the ante by adding private jet travel to its roster. Starting in 2021, the brand will be adding four brand new itineraries for its Four Seasons Private Jet, each one more stunning than the last.
But first, let’s take a look at the plane itself. The state-of-the-art, custom-fitted Airbus A321neo has just 48 handcrafted, soft Italian leather seats. Each seat offers 6.5 feet of personal space, an ottoman and extended leg room. And of course, you can flatten them completely when it is time to get some shut-eye.
“In designing the new Four Seasons Private Jet, we were inspired by the glamour and prestige of air travel in times past, when every flight was a special occasion. With a laser focus on comfort, functionality and beauty, our aim is to create an environment that encourages spontaneous social interaction between everyone on board,” said Dana Kalczak, Four Seasons Vice President, Design.
Designed with entertaining in mind, the jet will also be offering a variety of premium experiences while you’re in the air, like intimate workshops, educational demonstrations and culinary surprises with Four Seasons masters. The experiences will change depending on which itinerary you choose. For example, a wellness therapist will be in the air with you on the flight from Sydney to Bali, providing rejuvenating and customized spa treatments for your hands, eyes and body. And heading to the Serengeti with a camera you have no idea how to use? The Four Seasons’ resident naturalist and photographer from the region will offer insights into the wildlife you’ll be encountering on your game drive, and will show you how to capture the best photos.
The new itineraries start at $163,000 a person and once you take a look at the detailed trips below, you will know why. Plus, it goes without saying, but you will be staying in some of the world’s nicest luxury accommodations while at each stop.
The four new itineraries on offer starting in 2021 are ambitious to say the least:
- Remote Wonders (December 31, 2020 – January 20, 2021) will be taking you to Dubai, Hoi An, Angkor Wat, Bangkok, Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai, Seychelles, Rwanda, the Serengeti and then back to Dubai. An enriching journey through Asia and Africa in just 21 days, the new Remote Wonders itinerary kicks off in ultimate style with an exclusive New Year's Eve party in Dubai, as glittering fireworks light up the sky over the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. In Hoi An, a renowned Vietnamese tailor designs, sews and hand-delivers a custom outfit in time for take-off. While visiting the Old Town of Hoi An, streets are cordoned off to enjoy a festive private dinner set under colourful lanterns, complete with views of the city's iconic Japanese Bridge. On route to Bangkok, stop to explore Cambodia's majesty in Angkor Wat. Sail through the turquoise waters of Petite Anse by catamaran in the Seychelles before an unforgettable few days in the Virunga Mountains, trekking through the Rwandan rainforest to observe gorillas in their natural habitat. Maasai warriors lead the way to an unforgettable torch-lit barbecue feast in the middle of Serengeti's National Park at the end of a remarkable three week journey.
